Hy2RoGeN/Hydrogen aka Andrei Axinte was born in Vaslui, Romania and is a new name in the EDM scene who has only 19 years old. He got his interest in music from a fresh age due to his father who was a music man himself.
Since the age of seven he had access to studio equipment like keyboards, guitars, drums, mixers, drum machines and others, there for allowing him to learn the basis of music.
Since he was 11 he got his first computer. This was it. A personal mini studio in his own house wich allowed him to learn even more about the concept of composing and producing music.He started
producing and experimenting with genres like jungle, drum&bass, hard style and even trance.
In 2004 he discovered house music with all it's sub-genres. He loved it. He started producing electro house, progressive and tech.
In 2007 he started sending out demos to labels around the world hoping he will get noticed. He got signed to several labels across the globe and managed to step up a little bit with his original productions and remixes.
His first success was the remixes for Rupert Romaro's tracks intitled "This is the night" and "Down and Dirty" wich landed in the top 10s in digital stores such as Tracktidown, DjDownload, Juno, Beatport.
Almost all of his tracks got charted by djs
all around the globe and sold really well(one example is his track intitled 'Get Down(PDM Remix)' wich got support from superstar Fedde Le Grade). He remixed artists like: Paul Thomas, D.O.N.S., DBN,
Whiteliners, Matthias Menck(from Brooklyn Bounce), Rupert Romaro, Cristian Paduraru and many others. In 2008 he meets Dj Fr3ky aka Andrei Gheorghiu wich takes him under his belt at PRO-Motion Records/Agency, a label with big names to come, such as Robbie Rivera, Jesse Voorn, Deadmau5 and others. They're currently planing a huge project that will rock the EDM scene. He also teamed up with hungarian dj Nikola and worked toghether on some remixes.
