"An artist is someone who produces things that people don't need to have but that he - for some reason - thinks it would be a good idea to give them."

I felt like a sad kid on the last day of band camp... then I realized that this band camp happens TWICE a year! Sweet. See you honkers in Boston! (Let's do it in Chicago sooon!)
Hey, we want to help out with all the shit you're doing. We think you're awesome. We think your uncompromising stand against authority, against tyranny is inspiring. We want to help.
Invite us to wade through teargas with you, or break through police lines, to create a distraction while you rob a bank to redistribute the wealth in the name of the Cause. Invite us to help tear down the walls of oppression -- understand that it is totally okay if you mean this literally.
Trash Orchestra is a marching percussion band -- a bone-shaking recycled orchestra. We make percussion on tuned cans, hubcaps and barrels, drums, pieces of sheet metal, and homemade oddities.
More advance notice is better and maybe some help getting and staying there. But we are game to consider anything.
We'd love to do what we can to support your efforts.

i missed you in portland. also, i was in seattle the weekend before you were in pdx and apparently, matt (beers) and brendan (from the shop) saw emma with some girl at dick's at like eleven thirty or something. anyway, that's of no consiquence. and i don't even know if you two are still friends so you might not even give a crap that there was an emma sighting. ANYWAY! mostly just wanted to say hello and sorry we missed each other... agian.
