Driven by their intense creative focus and gifted with an appealing yet powerful voice and an intuitive flare for songwriting Guayacol y Ale Nova, are young up-coming Latin artists who specialize in music which will make you move, and grind your troubles to the floor, a melting pot of music. The main objective with their music is not necessarily to sing the prettiest or write the most profound songs, but to let everyone they come in contact with via music know that there connected. No one's really alone. This high-powered, finely tuned, Latin duo came together in 2003.
After 3 years of fronting a band under Sudakial Family, singers/songwriters Guayacol y Ale Nova craved a stronger, louder, more unified sound. As a result of Guayacol y Ale Nova's search for a stripped down two-piece Latin duo, Guayacol y Ale Nova was created. The duo is Alexander Torres and Julio Morales. Exploding on to Chicago's live Latin music scene, they have emerged as solid performers and have achieved many goals as a duo, including making Reggaetón jingles for Bud Lite Beer and McDonald's which is on a nationwide radio tour promotion using the jingles, A Chicago music award as part of the group named Sudakial family for best Latin Group in Chicago Illinois, and again winning this year's 2007 Best Latin Group in Chicago Illinois.
Over the past 4 years, Guayacol Y Ale Nova, have worked their way through countless gathering's, club residencies, and special event's to become one of Chicago's most recognized and versatile Latin act. Having shared the stage with some of today's most popular super stars, including opening for Don Omar 3 times, and Tego Calderon, Daddy Yankee, Calle 13 and many more. Guayacol y Ale Nova are now poised to make a significant impact on the latin scene with its powerful, full-length debut album,Demostrando, released September 12, 2007 which as of date has sold over 8700 units with little air play . With their specialty being Reggaetón/Bachata, Guayacol Y Ale Nova are also known to masterfully blend several different genres including R&B, Salsa, Bachata, Pop, and Hip Hop.
