I was born in Akron, Ohio, and now live in Brandon, Florida. At 21, I wrote and performed a song on the Akron compilaton album, Bowling Balls From Hell (Clone 1980). My song, "Ride, Rider," was picked by Billboard Magazine as a best cut. Spurred onward by this success, I went to California (1981-93), and ended up in San Francisco, where I stayed for seven years (1988-93). There, I was the Emcee/Soundman for a weekly open mic at the "Mad Dog in the Fog" at Haight and Fillmore (1991-93). I also helped put on several gigantic raves with the legendary Paul Renna at various venues in SF (1991-93). In addition, I have signed several songs over to publishers over the years. "Hard Nose" was included in an Indie Film by Red Duck Pictures called Imperfections (redduckpictures.com, 2006).
My CD, Edith's Mystery, was completed and released in 2007.
"PRECIOUS ONE," from this CD, was just selected to be included on the latest MUSIC FOR TROOPS CD, and "Earl" just made it onto HOT LAP DANCES, a CD to benefit stray cats and dogs. Also, 11 of my songs have been picked up by Noteborne Music Publishing.
Hey Evan! How've you been? How's work? How's your music coming? Any new songs or performances? I know it's a haul, but do you plan to perform at any of the Cafe Kili open mics? It'd be really cool if you did. I'd like for my dad to see you perform. Anyway, I'll talk to you later. Good luck, Evan! I wish you the best.

It finally rained here in NE. Now evertything is blooming.
Started line-editing yesterday and I forgot how much I can actually enjoy tinkering with sentences as I clean up my writing. Good thing. I'm going to be doing this for almost 2 months.
Hi Evan! How are you doing these days? Are "things" getting any easier for you? I'm (still) taking one day at a time here. By the way; I'm surprised that I haven't worn out your CD... I play it ALL THE TIME!!! Well, take care, and please, keep in touch? ♥, LaDonna ~ Kelly's sister (Just in case you forgot!)
Just want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. My Kelly is going to be with us all in spirit and in the many memories we have. I miss him terribly, but this is the time of year to be thankful and count our blessings - I wish you many blessings.
Hi there Evan Davis first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't loose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
It is a wonder. I remember taking Jenny to Bisbee Arizona after we were married. I walked into the Cooper Queen bar and saw this fellow (who I knew vaguely) at the end of the bar. He looked at me a bit startled and said “you’re dead”. “What”? “I heard you were dead”. “Well I’m not” “No, I heard it from (names omitted here)”. Anyway this went on for about three minutes before he begrudgingly admitted that I was alive. I thanked him and left.
Hi Evan, How are you these days? I'm getting by, I guess. I know "it's" gonna take some time, but I am trying! How about you? ...Just checking in... ♥ LaDonna

I've got a new song up on my profile called 'If Life is a Dream...'
It's a collaboration with The Castlehaze.
If you've got a spare 5 minutes, give it a whirl.
Take care,

Hey Evan,
I'm doing good. I don't generally have enough money to eat most of the time but I'm happy anyways. So...how have you been my friend. Hopefully all is well.

hi evan,
in our quest to be the most 'whacked out' psycotropic band on the planet we have stumbled upon some new nep-tunes.

the neptunous ones.
Evan Davis I appreciate your friendship and being part of my life. I believe that every single person who enters our life is there for a reason and everybody has a gift to give. Life to me is a remembering process and it is about sharing that remembrance. I write blogs for that purpose and I would like to share with you the gift of my remembrance: please view my blog by going here http://blog.myspace.com/135620083 and please subscribe if you consider it something of value.
We all remember different things so if you have a blog you would like to share please invite me; I would be grateful for the present indeed.
