Danail was born on February 9th in 1981 in the city of Sliven. His parents discovered his gift for music and thus at the age of 3 he began taking classical piano lessons. At the age of 6 he was invited to play as a solo pianist with the Sliven orchestra at a concert held in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. The music piece was specially written for him by the conductor.
At the age of 7 was his first performance on the national TV.
During the following 11 years of classical piano training he gave numerous concerts all around Bulgaria.
At the age of 7 he began exploring other music styles on his own. Thus at the age of 10 he began playing for a contemporary Christian band. For about 3 years they performed almost every weekend in different parts of Bulgaria and had crowds up to 40 000 people. They released 2 albums.
At the age of 13 Danail recorded an instrumental album with some of his favorite songs at that time.
In the following years he..s been performing and recording (live and in studio) with numerous bands in Bulgaria and the USA as a pianist and singer. In 2002 he played together with Eagles.. Wings Ministries at the CALL in New York City .. an event that gathered around 70 000 people.
Danail..s affinity for composing had always been obvious since the age of 4. He loves improvising and creating music. Up to now he has written over 20 songs, and numerous instrumental pieces in different styles .. classical, jazz and pop.
Currently he is a student at the New Bulgarian University, where he works part time as a pianist and also studies jazz piano, jazz singing, orchestration, and composing. For the last 2 years he..s been regularly hired to help as a pianist at Milcho Leviev..s and Vicki Alamzidu..s jazz masters.. classes.
Presently Danail is recording his first vocal album. It will contain about 10 songs that are written, arranged and performed by him.
But Danail..s interests go beyond music only. He grew up in a healthy Christian family. He openly expresses his love for God. One of the things you would hear Danail saying again and again is: ..Everything I am and all my achievements are because of God. Anything good in me is because of Him!.. Danail has been exploring the Bible since his childhood and began speaking in front Christian communities since the age of 16. Currently he is a part of a Christian fellowship where he executes a leadership position. He..s been regularly invited as a theology speaker in Bulgaria and the USA.
Danail also graduated an English language highschool. He loves cars and says driving is one of his biggest passions in life:). He is interested in psychology and loves to explore the art of communication between people. He loves volleyball, swimming and chocolates.
