Writer, dancer, DJ with a bag of tricks.
"If the vibe is fine, then you're friends of mine," a welcoming catch phrase into the world of ByRon 'B-Note' Brown. Byron is a part-time DJ, part-time writer, part-time dancer, a full time artist.
ByRon first acknowledged his passion for the underground culture after stumbling across a New York radio mix tape as a teen. The grooves lured him into seeking out the infectious energy of the House music movement, ultimately exposing him to the art of turntablism. Through hanging out at the Sound Factory Bar, The Shelter and various other clubs between NYC and Washington DC, ByRon became a student of the House music scene that fueled his desire to express himself musically even more.
In the late 90's ByRon created his own underground culture outfit, dubbed FoisonVibe, as a means of developing a name for himself. Always critical of his own performance, he developed a habit of recording every mix session he played, regardless of occassion. His mix cds in circulation are considered collectors items and have been sought after by those who have witnessed his flavor.
Byron cut his chops spinning for clubs and events which included Nutty Buddies in Virginia, Soul Heaven in Los Angeles, uni aum Entertainment's seasonal soiree's, uaE's univerSOUL Music Showcase in Harlem, RY Ink! at Club Five in Washington DC, DJ sean360x's urban spiRitual radio show at WCCR in New York, Marx Cafe in Adams Morgan, Washington DC, and vibing sessions at Nellie's Loft in Atlanta.
Always a dancer, Byron 's love for bodily expression led him to co-found Synergy Hip Hop Dance, Inc. in 2004. Synergy is a collective of dancers focused on the fusion of multiple dance styles and background. The dance troupe performs for various special events year-round.
ByRon continues to share his love for House music with the masses through a biweekly "mix blog" circulation known as B-Note Sounds Network. To gain access to the circulation list, simply send an email message consisting of your name and email address to bnotesounds@yahoo.com or to the MySpace inbox.

Hello Byron 'B-Note' Brown, Your sweet voice is like the application of aloe vera upon a sunburnt back. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. Imagine you meander through love as a river delta contemplating levitation. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. Panoramic aromavision is the future. You ever remind me of the enigma of happy thoughts I once forgot. Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound. How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation? Your beauty is equal to the smoothness of a polished gem.
