Aleon moved to Queens when he was 11 years old. It would be here where Aleon caught his felony charges for Strong Armed Robbery. He served six months on Rikers Island and then he was placed on probation for 5 years. Due to a number of probation violations Aleon had his probation switched to Miami, Florida where he would live with his Uncle for about another year or so. It was here that he would be discovered by BIG Records, an independent label under Tommy Boy Entertainment. He toured with BIG Records for a while until the parent label Tommy Boy Entertainment went bankrupt. Disappointed by the circumstances Aleon flew back to New York without telling probation and would get caught in New York about 3 months later for criminal possession of a firearm and narcotics. He served 2 years in a New York State correctional facility in Collins, New York where he studied the music industry and took his music more serious.
Aleon was released in the end of 2004 and since then has released 7 mix-tapes. The first was titled Da Next Best Thing featuring his team THE GUTTA FAM. The 2nd was titled Who Da F@%k is Aleon. His mix tapes sold over 50000 copies in the streets and through the many downloadable outlets of the internet. Aleon has also performed in a numerous venues, clubs and car shows. Aleon has been featured in many industry magazines as an un-signed rap sensation. The aspiring rappers life and dream is told through the lyrics in his music. His music has become his last outlet and only hope of survival in today’s society. The STRUGGLE AND HUSTLE continues until the right opportunity comes along.
