How I do what I do:
I use a casio CTK-495 (a very basic casio) and plug it into my DOD VGS50 guitar pedal and tweak the sounds to make the casio sound really distorted. I then sing into my DOD VGS50 guitar pedal and my Digitech RP200 guitar pedal (usually this one) to make distorted vocals. I record everything in Ntrack Studio on my computer. I started doing this in my bedroom May 2002 because I didn't have any "real" equipment. I love how it sounds.
Lately I have been making music with computer based programs and I am on the quest to master Reason. All of my new songs were written on my computer, no casio lately!
I am one half of the synth band Art and Lies. I love my band.
I have played guitar for 12 years, but it's not where my heart is right now. Maybe one day I will record those songs. I write mostly lullabye, put you to bed types of songs. I am self taught and I can play almost any song by ear.
I run the page Girls You Need To Hear which I update every weekend with four new songs from female musicians I think need to be heard. I focus mostly on queer electro, but do not limit it to that.
I recorded a song with Gina Young and Argyle Miss, it's about cat allergies and is my "rap" debut. CATS
