Nova v 1.0's Interests
General
Making music, listening to music, listening to music that I make. Reading philosophy and great books, watching foreign films when time allows, busting my butt at the gym trying to get strong enough to lift several of myself and beat my shadow in a mile run. Trying to do so without getting too musclebound.
Music
Healthy diet of industrial/black metal/EBM/punk/gothic/progressive/hardcore. Mostly European.
Refer to Rammstein, KMFDM, The Kovenant, Refused, Lacuna Coil, Laibach, Godhead, Fischerspooner, Nine Inch Nails, Eisbrecher, Covenant (to be distinguished from aforementioned "The Kovenant"), Alexisonfire, Combichrist, Nitzer Ebb, Sisters of Mercy, Prince, Queensryche.
Old Boy - A Korean movie with an intricate plot and a main character who fills the void that Eric Draven used to fill when I was a teenager.
The Princess and the Warrior - a quite perverse film made in Germany, which I wouldn't recommend for the weak of stomach. Same actress and director as "Run Lola Run."
Godfather I and II
Scarface, I guess to keep the Pacino theme going.
Me, Myself and Irene: too funny to leave out.
Television
I am not an advocate of reality television. I rarely go out of my way to watch anything on television, though I often find myself home on Mondays for RAW, and will tune into random episodes of Scrubs, South Park, Sarah Silverman, and vintage shows like Cheers, Night Court, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when my schedule so allows.
I also like Discovery/History/Learning Channels, but again, rarely do I adjust my schedule to what those stations are showing. Unless, that is, it is controversial and ground-breaking, like that special from Easter-time where the director of Titanic pretty much, in my opinion, proved that Jesus and Mary Magedelan were an item.
Finally finished Atlas Shrugged. So who, exactly, is John Galt? Also finished Joyce Carol Oates' book Them. Not as good as I expected, being that she wrote my favorite short story of all time, "In the Region of Ice." In general, if I'm feeling lax, I'll pick up something like Vonnegut, and when feeling angsty I'll delve into Nietzsche.
Half sophisticated gentleman, half rock-and-roll, alcohol induced neanderthal. I have designs on world domination, though I am pacifist and want everyone to live in harmony. Twenty-seven years old with a strong resume, yet still full of teenage angst. Hilarious whilst being gravely serious.
People like me were not made for this world.
Apparently, as these quiz results will evince, I'm a walking contradiction too.
You scored as atheism. You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul.
Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.
How could I dare to believe that evil both is a force existing in nature and is a man-created fiction? (Hint: I disbelieve a lot more than I believe. I hate being accused of logical contradictions in my thinking.)
My friend Jeff had actually bought us tickets for Cleveland and Detroit but then we realized that the Detroit show was on the same night as a friend's wedding so we had to sell our's and he went and got us tickets for Toledo on monday so that we could still see them twice. I would've given anything to see them back in the day though..as I'm not all that into his new "image" and I like his music from the 90's better.
