Music
My taste in music is very diverse. It honestly depends on my mood of the hour. I can go from listening to some 70's rock to modern coffee house style with in a 60 minute period. I believe that there is a song out there for everyone; it touches them in some shape or form, in whatever emotion they are feeling at the time. I understand music, I let it soak in, and the feeling is just so overwhelming. I grew up listening to music, as I got older, I grew a very fine taste for music. I have my band teachers to thank for that, they introduced me to so many wonderful composers. I was in band for 10 years, it started out to be just an extra class to take, then it became my life, I lived and breathed everything there was to know about music. My favorite part was the marching, especially when I was in High School. I loved go out onto that field after practicing for weeks and show people what we had. Some people might call me a band geek or some might think "Oh it’s just an easy "A" in school”...or even it something that we do in high school and that’s it, but it's so much more than that... band is literally my life. I have learned so many life experiences from those ten years that I probably will never learn in my entire life...it shows us discipline, hard work, achievement, and to be proud of whom we are. I will have so many memories to cherish for the rest of my life! So next time you think about calling us band people geeks think again because....

I like to read every so often, I'm not an advocate reader like I would like to be. I just need to find the time.....and the right book also helps. I like to read mondern romance, things about eveyday life, some mysteries, memoirs. Im kinda a picky reader.
Here are some books that I have read so far::
Wicked//Bloom//The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe//The Harry Potter Series//The Uglies, The Pretties, The Specials series//These Who Are Among Us//The Forgotten Thruth
Heroes
My family especally My Nana, Grandpa Al, Grandma Cherie, and My Aunt Teresa.
My Friends!!! You know who you are!
I think this is so powerful because it is so true!
We all know or knew someone like this!!
One day, when I was a freshman in high school,
I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school.
His name was Kyle.
It looked like he was carrying all of his books.
I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday?
He must really be a nerd."
I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.
They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.
His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him.
He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes
"They really should get lives." he said
"He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!"
There was a big smile on his face.
It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.
I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.
As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before.
He said he had gone to private school before now.My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.
As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. "
I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.
We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.
He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.
I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends
He said yes.
We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.
Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.
I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!
"He just laughed and handed me half the books.
Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.
When we were seniors we began to think about college.
Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke.
I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem.
He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship.
Kyle was valedictorian of our class.
I teased him all the time about being a nerd.
He had to prepare a speech for graduation.
I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak.
Graduation day, I saw Kyle.
He looked great.
He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.
He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.
He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.
Boy, sometimes I was jealous!
Today was one of those days.
I could see that he was nervous about his speech.
So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"
He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.
"Thanks, " he said.
As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began
"Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years.
Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends...
I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.
I am going to tell you a story."
I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met.
He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.
He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.
He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.
"Thankfully, I was saved.
My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."
I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.
I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.
Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.
Never underestimate the power of your actions.
With one small gesture you can change a person's life.
For better or for worse.
God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way.
Look for God in others.
There is no beginning or end.. Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Todays a gift.
Hey! I’m Krystal! I am going to college for Early Childhood Development in the fall at Edmonds Community. I plan to become a teacher, maybe even a child psychologist. I love working with kids, I have my whole life. I dream to be the “typical stay at home, soccer mom”, not right now, but when I’m ready. I just moved to Washington State, I have a love hate relationship with it. Lol. I love to hang out with my friends, no matter what we are doing; I always have a blasty blast [for all those Dane Cook fans]. I think I'm pretty outgoing. Random things make me laugh...often. It can be completely quiet and I will just laughing for no reason. Werid...I know. Right now I only have one TRUE LOVE and that is Music. [I want that to change that real soon, though]*wink* *wink* I live for music...yes, yes I know ALOT of people say that but I really mean it. I was born into music, literally. So as you probably guessed with my love for music I also like singing, I will admit I am not the best singer, but not the worst either. I can hold a pretty decent note. Lol. I love sports...any kind...Baseball, Hockey, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, in no particular order. Lol.♥

As you can probably tell I believe in the Bible. I am not one of those hypocritcal people who say they believe and then try to shove it into your face. I think that you have the right to choose what you want to believe in. So with that said;
†This is my favorite Bible Verse : Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.†
Who I'd like to meet: ♥Someone who can comfortably be themselves, try new things, be outgoing. Who simles and it meaning more than words. Living everyday as a new day. Someone who would be beside me when I'm happy or sad. Who will care for me. Who is affectionate, only becasue I am very affectionate. Someone to come home to and cluddle with. Someone who will randomly surprise me with flowers. Someone to make memories with. Someone to celebrate with. Just be them and no one else!♥
