The Empire Arts Center is the Greater Grand Forks' downtown performing arts center. With anything ranging from Dance, to bands, from weddings to movies, the empire hosts it all. There is even a gallery for the visual arts.
Located on the corner of DeMers and 5th St N in downtown Grand Forks, its location is a prime place to attract some of the best local artists. It plays host to the Alcohol free family new years event First Night every year, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, along with a yearly film festival, and the local dance studio's dance recitals.
