About me: I take this time to honor all Soldiers who have lost their lives, and those who are still serving today in support of the Global War on Terrorism . I, among many, served in Iraq and Afghanistan and thank God to have survived! What helped us get through was a weekly night of poetry to express our feelings and "get the edge off". I thank all of my friends who entrusted their expressions to me in order that I may one day publicize them for you to read. Thank you for your interest in keeping my dream alive!
Who I'd like to meet: Your support and contribution for the publishing and printing of long awaited poetry book, "The Issue is in the Poem", is appreciated. It is a project that I have been working on since my return from Iraq in 2004. The poetry book is a compilation of expressions written by Soldiers, including me, about issues that plague everyone...but the difference was that the issues were compounded by the existence of war, anger, fear, and the unknown.
