The Violet StoryBorn in New York City, Britte got her first taste of show biz as a kid.
Her auntie took her to see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. The lines to get in that day were so long, it made the front page of the New York Times. Britte’s beaming grin was right smack in the middle of the shot. Fast forward about a decade...

With a strong sensibility for word play, Britte excelled in creative writing and poetry. Coming of age in South FL as a guitar toting beach bunny gave her the confidence to grow as a songwriter. Armed with a voice that made people listen, she quickly became a regular performer on the local coffee house scene. After two short-lived band collaborations, Britte decided it was time to shake things up. She packed her life into her car and drove to Texas.

Solo gigging on the Dallas coffee house circuit lead to the founding of her indie band Naked Violet. The band's sound compares to the likes of Heart, Annie Lennox, Sheryl Crow, and The Cranberries. Naked Violet played to eager audiences in every venue of Deep Ellum, Metro Dallas-Ft. Worth, and beyond. Tragedy struck, and critical life changes forced the band to dissolve. But not before recording the 'Shades of Violet' CD. With her Shades recordings and beloved fur kids in tow, Britte hit the road to the Land of Enchantment.

Currently, the singer-songwriter is working up a solo show for high desert music lovers. Naked Violet is an artist who relishes sharing her music with her audience. She thrives on creating memorable experiences with and for her fans. A new Naked Violet band lineup is also on the horizon.
