“Hey what’s good peoples this Laydbac a.k.a Rarebreed, the CEO and founder of Mo Peys Productions. Aaahhh I like how that sounds…lol. Yeah but I am the producer of all the tracks you are hearing right now. Let me know what’s hot and what’s not………. I had to learn how to take criticism and honestly now it makes me no difference cause I’m keep doing me…ya feel? If you interested in hearing more tracks hit me up…….I GOT HITS! Also all the graphic art work dealing Mo Peys or eNuff Said on this page was done by Mo Peys Productions…..if you like what you see and what you hear email Mopeysproductions@gmail.com. “Alright so check it out, I have a couple of projects coming up this year! The first release is the album from my group Falsely Akuzed titled Falsely Accused. Then sometime around the 4th quarter of 2008 I’m looking to drop my solo project. In 2009, be on the look out for the Falsely Akuzed’s second album…..O’yea it’s real. I got some real hot shit too!” “With all that said it’s been an interesting year. Dealt with a lot bullshit but I’m letting it pass like gas and I’m look forward to moving forward. I’m like on some Verizon Wireless shit, I’m building this network from the ground up! I’ve had very little help but a lot of inspiration to keep in this shit. I’ve procrastinated long enough by waiting on other people that ain’t about shit so fuck it.…..now it’s just me……and I’m holding it down dawg!! I’m really looking forward to hearing all the negative shit too! Them the best critics, keeps the adrenaline pumping! LMAO! I’m also looking forward to working with different artists and producers trying to come up out here in this music industry like myself and some already established. Like I said early I produced every track and I got 3 projects I’m working on and a fourth one stirring up…..I’m a get it! I’m also working with a couple artists in my, “Under the Gun” section of my profile. Make sure you check that out too.” “Okay so everybody got they own style. I’m from Oakland, Ca, home of the Hyphy Movement! Tho I don’t consider my music to be that……but shit use it for whateva just turn it up loud when you do! Don’t get me wrong I respect the Hyphy Movement that shit is hot, I love what they doing and I support my Hyphy ones! Really tho I’ve classified I guess you can say my style and/or sounds as hard hop. Not hip-hop but hard-hop. Ya’ll know I just made some shit up right, lol…….naw really just hard hip-hop. As far as my production….well that’s one of the rare sides of me. I don’t like having a distinctive sound to my music that every time my tracks played you could tell I produced them all. Every track I produce or produced, I wanted to hear, “All your shit sound different.” I put my blood, sweat and tears in all of my work. So I’m a try hard to keep it raw and uncut for ya’ll! I’m a live and die doing this music shit!” “Aight so I’m out of here ya’ll! Once again thanks for checking the page out. I would like to give special thanks to those of you who comment my work, it is very much appreciated! Also I wanna say keep hating to all you haters and any personal ones I have. I love ya’ll the most cause ya’ll need it the most. Lol! To er’body in my tops……..AY ONE LOVE! Please do visit again as I will be updating my profile with info and new songs. If you decide not to come back then I ain’t mad at’cha! I wish you the best success in whatever it is you do with your life, and that’s Fo Real! Peace ya’ll Laydbac C.E.O.$tat

About Laydbac.s Official Music Page Mo Peys Productions
Laydbac a.k.a the Rarebreed…I know, who? .let me say it for you again……..Laydbac the Rarebreed! With his variety of styles of tracks and unique sounds Laydbac who is one of the next rare trendsetting producers/lyricist to enter the game. Laydbac was born and raised in The Bay, in the mid 70’s. As Rap as an art form grew up so did Layback. He began writing poetry at the age of 12, the same year some of the most classic rap albums of all time dropped, Boogie Down Productions dropped “By All Means Necessary”, NWA “Straight Out of Compton”, and EPMD “Strictly Business” to name a few. Laydbac’s writing naturally progressed into rapping.
Not completely captured by the mic, Laydbac was more so fascinated with the composition of the track. They key to the whole song, the claps, 8 0 8 kicks, hi hats and tight baselines intrigued Laydbac. This new emerging sound in music paired with his already great appreciation for the oldies but goodies that his parents listened to: Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Bootsy Collins, The O’Jays, and the Whispers...solidified music as the central part of his life, carrying him through many hard times.
Growing up in the Bay Area (Oakland, Richmond and Hercules) was difficult for Laydbac. In 1990 his mother and stepfather separated, shortly after the separation his stepfather, the only father he knew passed away. Left to be the man of the house with 3 younger siblings, his mother working full time and going to school, Laydbac went on to graduate high school and attended jr. college for a couple of years. All the while waiting to focus all of his energy on the one thing he wanted to do most, make music.
In the late 90’s Laydbac hustled up some equipment and started creating beats. His brother Sean Scott a.k.a Seany-Bo (R.I.P) was already known around the neighborhood for his vicious flows knew Laydbac’s beats were hot so the brothers started to work together. Seany-Bo was the motivation Laydbac needed and the chemistry between the 2 on tape was unbelievable.
Unfortunately it proved difficult to get anything done, and turn out tracks. Unable to keep his brother in the studio on a consistent basis Laydbac was also trying to push a group of friends by the name “C.M.A Cell-Mate Affiliates”. The project never caught the buzz they wanted. In December of 2005 after the unfortunate shooting of his brother Seany-Bo, his muse, it was then Laydbac thought he was done with music.
In 2006, after a move to a new neighborhood Laydbac met a former local artist, Sneak-Bo. Taking the similarity in names to his brothers as a sign, Laydbac gave Sneak-Bo a copy of his music to listen to. Sneak was impressed and they both decided they wanted to start a record label. The initial venture failed, but Laydbac was determined not to give up this time. He started investing in more music equipment and it was then decided that Laydbac and Sneak-Bo would become a group. With Laydbac behind the tracks laying lyrics would be nothing…..I mean a breeze.
Unfortunately once again things did not go accordingly. Laydbac experience difficulties with Sneak-Bo recording the album “The Rap Game” which was supposed to be released this year. Now really frustrated, Laydbac decided to add 2 more members to the group, which now includes………Leather Face, Lil Reezy, Sneak-Bo and Laydbac. It was then at this point Laydbac wanted to separate himself as a producer and being a lyricist. So as a producer he would go by Rarebreed and Laydbac for his stage name. Now with the new album just about completed, under going the final production stage, Laydbac now has the chance to focus on his album. “The group thing ain’t me…” spoken in a mild manner tone by Laydbac. “I had to fit too much with other peoples styles that wasn’t my style.......It’s just not the style I was leaning towards. So my solo album will be me.” With that being said now a new beginning begins…………..Welcome to the World of a Rarebreed.
