Hi fair world :D A little about me. Spent most of my time travelling till my early 30s and lived for 3 years in India My health finally gave up the ghost, so had to stop travelling then. I'm 40 and a bit of an old hippy I'm afraid. I am disabled and have a collection of odd diseases, (teehee) but I'm currently recovering from a brainstem stroke I had nearly 2years ago.

BrainStem Strokes Strokes that occur in the brain stem are especially devastating. The brain stem is the area of the brain that controls all of our involuntary, "life-support" functions, such as breathing rate, blood pressure and heartbeat. The brain stem also controls abilities such as eye movements, hearing, speech and swallowing. Since impulses generated in the brain's hemispheres must travel through the brain stem on their way to the arms and legs, patients with a brain stem stroke may also develop paralysis in one or both sides of the body.

Haha, I like John already! If you don't know Slipknot OR Sponge Bob Square Pants then you have some serious research to do! Sponge Bob is a cartoon Character, who lives under the sea. The humour is actually subtle enough it a lot of episodes that you're not embarrassed to be caught watching it (or is it just me who still laughs at fart jokes? haha). Have a look on You Tube and you should be able to find a few episodes.
Really, listen to the new Slipknot album, you'll like it. If that's a bit too much for you, try Stone Sour (Corey and James from Slipknot are in that band).
And if you don't like *them*, I give up! hahah
