| General | I love to watch NASCAR racing... (the real pro is my husband who can answer most questions about the sport.)
Frisbee golf...again I give much credit to my husband because he got me involved in the sport. I am not as good as he is but we do it to get outdoors and have fun along with the exercise.
Ah… the great outdoors! You have to love WI to love the outdoors! (You cannot forget about the weather either!) I don’t know of any other place I would rather be. I love to garden, go camping, go fishing, go swimming, go horseback riding, arts + crafts or creating stuff and, riding on our Harley. (Now days these are all much more challenging but what would life be without challenges?)
Much of this outdoor stuff can be done with friends or without them.
I have to bounce back a bit now to say, I have graduated from the tech. YES! The second biggest accomplishment I have completed yet in my lifetime.
Every now and then I get inspired to write a poem. The words just come to me and I write them down and edit later. Try your hand at writing poems, you never know, you could be the next big winner. | | Music |

My children are grown up now and doing their own things.
This leaves much more time to spend with my wonderfully supportive husband Gerry. We recently purchased a Harley Davidson motorcycle, which we have taken many cruises on this past summer(2007). I am excited about riding soon. (You have to love WI weather, no more snow please!)
I can not forgot to mention the newest member of our family, Schatzi our black, miniature schnauzer. She is an amazingly obedient animal and she turned two on February 20,2008. She learned to fetch a Frisbee disc last year. She is the greatest companion one could have!
How I came up with my nickname… my birth name is Kathrine but family and friends call me Kat for short and after my work accident I used humor from the first day to help cope with the challenges I was about to embark on and well onez stands for one hand and the 48 stands for my favorite race car driver Jimmie Johnson hence, onez48 or 1zkat
I am an Admistrative Assistant for Mau Realty & Builders Inc, www.maurealty.com, a great bunch of people to work for, I enjoy my job.
