Music is one of my main interests. I love to spin records and have been DJing since '99. I play house, techno, progressive, breaks and pretty much anything else that bangs.
I love football! The Minnesota are my favorite NFL team
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are my college team
I also love to cook.

Music
I grew up loving 80's bands like Bon Jovi and Def Leppard. When I got to high school, my friend had me listen to a new group called NWA. I couldn't believe how rough it sounded, but I was drawn to the truth I was hearing about the world. Ice Cube became my favorite artist for his powerful lyrics and presence. When I joined the military I was exposed to so many different types of music such as Latin and Punk (I saw Bad Religion in Orange County Pavillion) but the one that held my attention was techno. The rythmic pounding and strange sounds really intrigued me. Not having lyrics really made me dissect the music and appriciate what I was hearing. I have been hooked ever since.
Movies
is probably my favorite movie of all time. It has everything...action, horror, sci-fi, and a tiny bit of romance. I am a horror fan but slasher movies annoy me. I like spiritual or ghost horror flicks like Ju-On
or The Ring. I really like all types of movies though, and here are a couple of my favs...Ong-Bak the Thai Warrior, Ninja Scroll, Amelie, The Professional, The Terminator movies, Heat, The Beast, Human Traffic,
Television
I really like intelligently written television like Six Feet Under, Big Love or Entourage (is it a coincidence that these are all HBO shows?) but my favorite show right now is
I love Iron Chef also! I want them to do a battle rhubarb. That would be
Books
Yes, people talk shit, but I am a really big Stephen King fan. Before you say anything read The Gunslinger.
King's writing style is so complex and strange I just love it. Also his stories are so interconnected it gives his work so much depth. I read a lot of Fantasy (Richard Goodkind, Piers Anthony), sci-fi and horror. I also enjoy non-fiction books on history, politics and other issues.

Don't feel like you are mentally inadequate, for the love of God.
I have seen and taken some of those math tests. Some of those sequence questions like: "What's the next number in this sequence?" are like riddles.
And alot of people don't get them. But if you look at them long enough, you will start to see the patterns. It's like unlocking a door in your brain.
Besides, most of the people that do well in those tests practice math skills on a regular basis. Or have unlocked that door in their brains at some point in the past.
There's books you can get that show different methods on how to mentally maneouvre around all kinds of number calculations.
One is called: Math Magic by S. Flansburg
Besides, intelligent thinking is not soley confined to those with good math skills.
There are two sides to the brain. And each side specializes in different functions.
