I played the Detroit area club scene through out the 70's and 80's in several different bands. I met a few Good Musicians, a lot of Pretty Women, far too many Ego Maniacs, some Good Friends and All the Freakin Wierdo's. . . Carol Sweeney entered into my music world in the winter of 1975. After years of playing together on the cover circut it was time for a change... ALUX was formed in the summer of 1980 by Carol Sweeney, Mike Foster and myself. The name ALUX was a result of a mis-spelling on our studio master tapes, which our producers insisted on keeping. There were multiple players during our recording phase, Rob Emanuel, Beau Williams, Rob Holt, Roger Deliso, Tim Holmes, Joel Fadool, Tim Oneil and others. After recording our second single Robert Burko joined the band in 1982, the band became a family. . . We were young, stupid and listened to no one, until we were all forced to grow up! The band disolved in1984.
"We all had a lot of fun and I certainly had my share" . Alex Greene.

It was great catching up the other day, it had been way too long my friend. Somehow I had forgot about the Jedi Mind Trick played on Charlie (that he was driving the car) in L.A. I'll get those old pics out sometime soon.
By the way, that TV clip is a classic, were you even plugged in?
