Marie's Interests
General
I really love to read which I usually always have something on hand. I also like to bake sweet and savory items. I like to travel which I was lucky enough to do while growning up. I also had the opportunity to meet lots of great people through my travels, some of whom I am still in contact with today. So I'm always open to making new friends.
Music
Lots of different stuff! I love oldies but I listen to whatever strikes my fancy.
Movies
I like all kinds of movies but I really love old movies and musicals. Some of my top favorites are: "Meet Me in St. Louis", "Pride & Prejudice" (BBC & new) "Boondock Saints" & "Willow" to name a few. I do watch comedy occasionally but I don't like gross and vulgar stuff so I don't usually pick up and comedy moveis just b/c I usually think it's going to have content that I don't find funny. So if you know any good comedy movies that are actually funny and not offensive I'd love to give them a go so send me your suggestions!
Television
Stargate Atlantis is about the only show I still like to watch. Really enjoyed the SciFi channels presentation of "Tin Man" also.
Books
I have a lot of favorite authors and genres. I read mystery, fantasy, sci-fi, and of course romance. I love Orson Scott Card, Mercedes Lackey, Lori Wick, and so many more... Currently reading "Almost Adam" by Petru Popescu. A very good book and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves to read!
