I like to make noise.
When I was 6, I used to hide under the table during reading time and make noises. My first memory of making noise.
When I was 14, I used to play the same note repeatedly in guitar lessons to see how long I could do it before I annoyed my tutor. My second memory of making noise.
When I was 17, I discovered that computers can both make and edit noise. And that you don't need to play notes in order to make something interesting. My third memory...etc.
I'm a bit older now, and I've forgotten how I used to make noise. I miss it. Not everything needs to be recorded or documented.
Ultimately, this is ALL about self indulgence. Try it. I'm not interested in making money out of this (although I wouldn't say no), or "sharing my gift with the world". I do a bit of the latter (hence the Myspace), but it's not WHY I make noises.

...What I do hear is a variety of sounds, brought together such that sometimes you think you’re listening to the weird Italian outtake from Tom Waits’ Mule Variations. And then you think it’s something else, maybe one of those neo-swing bands? It is hard to categorize these guys, and one may as well not try... from www. maelstrom. nu
