The 15 minute club is the only club where you will find the industry's finest up and coming talent play acoustic sets every week, and all for free. The artists take to the stage for 15(ish!) minutes to showcase their own original songs. The venue The Living Room (www.thelivingroom.co.uk)is a reputable name across the UK featuring a baby grand piano and full live set up surrounded by comfy booths and sofas. The bar has a great selection of cocktails, wines and beers and the menu covers all the favourites and more, the steak and ale pie is perfect comfort food for those Sunday hang overs! The Living room is well established as a live music venue and is associated with accomplished artists. Supergrass, Athlete, Beverly knight, Paolo Nutini, Daniel Bedingfield, Lucie Silvas, Corinne bailey rae, Ava leigh, Rushmore and "4 poofs and a piano" have all graced the stage at some point. The 15 minute club is a unique experience and a great gig for those who play and for those who come to watch. Back at the 15 Minute Club tonight, after a couple of Festivals...and okay, okay I admit, I missed you A LOT!!!
So tonight's acts were a mix of genres, some great songs and woohoo-ing crowds!
11 Nights: A Swedish band on the rise, almost Tory Amos-esque...and beautiful sounds. Barry & the Mary Celestine Survivors' Club: Irish-Indie is how described it, and were certainly stomping by the end of it! Strange Pilgrims - great, great songs - fab vocals and Paul's the brother of Lauren Rich who was the next act - a family affair of amazing talent! Lauren Rich - Lord, have mercy! Can this stunning lady belt it...phew...astonishing, well done!

Sami Sumner - smooth vocals and piano...showcasing songs from his forthcoming album! Miss Lisa Ambrose - winner of Battle of the Bands and toured with Mark Ronson - singing her song and wowing the audience with her sweet strumming and humming harmonica! Just 18yrs old...so watch this space! Michael Ray - you always rock it up baby, great to have you back! Dice Jar - raw, emotional and gripping...you captured the crowds' souls!
