we're doing good. i'm baby-sitting my cousin's kids while they are in from n.c. for a couple weeks. who are 4 and 9. i watch them while my aunt's working, and thank god she only works five hour shifts.
the little girl and addy do not get along. i swear to god if i hear "addy did (insert nonsense tattle tale comment here), i am gonna rip my fucking hair out. thank god i only have to do it for three more days. it's totally stressing addy and me out.
and i have discovered a new love. i am apparently not only a fucking rad chef, but i can butcher meat like a mother fucker. you should have seen me covered in fat chunks and blood while cutting up a giantic deer shoulder last night at taylor's. i was like a kid in a candy store. we made steaks last night and i cubed some meat for a stew that i made in the crockpot today. super bad ass. i think i have found my life's work.
technically addy "potty-trained for like a year and a half. we started when she was like two and a half and it was an all out battle of wits and will. then right around her fourth birthday she just up and decided she wanted to pee in the the potty all the time and just did it.
addy's and i are good except that she's testing her limits with bedtime and it's seriously pissing me off because in like 3 weeks she's going to be having to get up at the ass crack of dawn to get ready for school.
