This layout was greatly inspired by Mike Industries's Myspace layout which was the only layout that I could find that looked like a real website. Using his layout as a fundamental, I also wanted to have flexibility to instantly change the look of it by swithing the background image. The table is see-through so it reflects the color of whatever background image chosen. I'm testing it out to see if this layout is indeed flexible or not! :)
I'm using a background created by Floyd Celluloyd. I can't read his site because it is in German? or something, but I really like all his downloadable backgrounds. If you see this, please add me Floyd! :) I have also added a more grungy look by putting some background to the headers and the tables.
Why am I doing this? Well, I am a web developer currently working on a project with Chao (see my friend list!) on a web app to let users easily customise their Myspace page without any html/css knowledge. There are lots of site out there that provides codes to paste in the "about me" box, fefecode for them.
I'm pretty happy about the result, but not sure if this is something other people want as thier layout. Maybe a typical Myspace user want falling text and repeated backgrounds with glittering text all over the place instead. XD

Who I'd like to meet: Anybody who has made an inspirational myspace layout WITHOUT using a DIV. I love those gorgeous layout using DIVS but I don't like the way you can't update it the old fashion way like everything is static so you must hard code the html. So, like my friend Chao says, Div layout is perhaps more "form over function" whereas, I'm looking for some layouts like mikeindustries that it still has all the original myspace functions but with a layout that is a little easier on your eyes :) Please add me if you think you have a great layout that you would like to share with me!!

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The gravesite was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.
Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
If this made you smile for even a brief second, please rise to the occasion and take time to pass it on and share that smile with someone else who may be having a crumby day and kneads a lift.
