Gabriele Saro was born inSpilimbergo (Pordenone, Italy), 8th August 1976. Since that day, hispassion for music has always been with him, even now, that he lives in Villalta di Fagagna (UD) He has been always motivated by two different attitudes: on one hand scientificrational, on the other hand artistic and creative. He has ascientific A levels and a Bachelor Degree in Business Economy, aDiploma in Violin and a Master of Music in Film Composition:different paths, but Gabriele knows how to mix them perfectly.

That's why heaccomplished a Master in Neuro-linguistic Programming in 2012 and acollaboration with NLP's international trainer Marco Valerio Riccifor the realisation of sound material for therapies: music andrationality, research and harmony.

These are just a fewinterest of Gabriele, the ones which influence his artistic career:anthropology, biology and science fiction... but the most importantactivity is beyond doubt music and composition.

He cooperates as aviolinist in classic and light music, he sings in various choirs ofFriuli Venezia Giulia and he also went on several tournée abroadwith them, the last one in Canada.

Not just the violin:infact, Gabriele can play also the piano and the organ, he listens tomusic of all kind, especially soundtracks. He deeply believes that aman never stops learning: he combines the experience gained overyears (concerts and choral direction seminary, summer camps and windorchestra contests) with passion for composition. He attendedMasterclass in Film Scoring with M° P. Buonvino and M° G. Plenizio,and in composition, arrangement and direction with M° V. Miskinis,M° V. Sivilotti, M° L. Donati, M° A. Cadario, M° V. Zoccatelli,M° W. Pfaff and M° A. Martinolli.

Art and science, holy andprofane: Gabriele's dual soul reveals itself also in the variety ofhis compositions. Rising sacred music composer thanks to many massesand pieces for "a cappella" or with instrumentals, boastsmany flattering appreciations also for his profane compositions,mainly for symphonic and wind orchestra. His music is published by Musiche d'inCanto Edizioni and Azzola Edizioni.

The enthusiasm and thepassion for his job and for his life got him in touch with lots ofpersons, creating new collaborations. Musicians as Andrea del Piccolo(pianist), Andrea Toffolini (pianist 4 hands) and Francesco Pinosa(cellist) helped him recording CDs "Sunsets","Sunsets 2" and "Passion"(on AMAZON and digital download worldwide). These tracks forpiano, violin and cello can be considered as first works that bringGabriele closer to the world of incidental music: those are the mostappreciated works according to the public and with a lot of plays oninternet since July 2010 from all over the world, and radiobroadcasting in Canada and Japan in particular, making Gabrieleextremely proud. Soon the new CD “Sensations” , forviolin, cello and piano.

And the creative mind ofGabriele is in evidence with his last works: the album “Glimpses:Orchestral Light Music”, with music for symphonic orchestraand wind orchestra, (looking at Hollywood Soundtracks, and includingthe opera “Views of Fagagna” dedicated to his nativevillage), and the albums “The Calling”, where heexplores modern electronic sonorities, “Arabian Dream”, achill-out album, and “S.C.I.N.”, with hip-hop DjMix sounds. His passion for the choral music,choirs and orchestra has ispired Gabriele on the creation of thealbums “Timeless Light” and “Shadow in theLight” for choir, instruments and orchestra, and the 2singles “BigApple” and “ExsensE”.

He has plenty ofcollaborations: he works and share his notes also with lots of dancemusic artists for Pop, R&B and Club music. One recent achievementfor Gabriele is the agreements that he signed with prestigiousamerican publishers, like Simply Grand Music Inc. - Memphis -,Music Of The Sea Inc. - Chicago -, MultiPlatinum Group/Overtone LLC - Beverly Hills LA -and several others for the commercial licensing of his songs andcommercial jingles (Top 100 Artists, Omnicom Group NYC, majorfilms, indie films, networks and cable tv, advertising, in storeplay, phone apps, video games); his music has been pitched byCompanies like FOX, L'Oreal and Fed Ex. 5 are the compilations withalso his commercial music, published with the alias Gabe Saro. As aresult from collaborations, the albums “The Rob And”,with rock-acid house music, “Mirrors” , exploringthe sonorities of piano and electronics, and “Sunrise in theLife”, a new-age music album (NBO Project).

One of the most memorablemoment for Gabriele was the success of Skippin, Winner atthe International Contest UK Songwriting Contest 2015,finalist (Top 10) atinternational contest USA Songwriting Competition 2015 andsemifinalist at ISC2015 (InternationalSongwriting Competition); thegreat result again at UK Songwriting Contest 2015for the song So Cold, finalist,and for the semifinalist songs E.I.C., Clubbin, Ring the Bell, andPaparazzi Flashes; great success for the song Per nonDimenticare , which brought him to semi-final both of theinternational contest UK Songwriting Contest 2013 andat the national contest Cantagiro 2013 , andIs It Love, semi-finalist at UK Songwriting Contest2011; gorgeous moments for the Contemporary R&B songsproposed and heard by superstars like Usher, Chris Brown andRihanna.

Gabriele was 3° Prize atNational Choral Composition Competition “Renato della Torre”2015; the song “PensierAnimal” was 2° Prize at “Festival della Canzone Friulana”2015, song that involved Gabriele as co-arranger and conductor oforchestra at Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine; was winner at Festival“In Arte...Buri” with the best original song awarded by children;with the soundtrack written by Gabriele, the short movie “Caropapà” won the Audience Award at Short Film Festival of Muris 2013.

He creates also music fordocumentaries (TSM Edizioni - Ministry of Cultural Heritage),looking for his dream, soundtracks of movies.

He sings as Tenor onVirtual Choir 4: Fly To Paradise - E. Whitacre and hecontributed to the cost of making it.

He has created more than500 tunes, registered with his P.R.O. S.I.A.E. , and 400 also withASCAP (Usa)

He is a full member at The Guild ofInternational Songwriters and Composers; allof his music is registered at the CopyrightServiceof the Association, with International Value.

Last but not least, hecollaborates as music arranger and musician with many orchestras andchoirs. Incredibly, he also has time to teach in local music schools.
