Leche – who have an incredibly strong presence and sound on stage – are very active on the live front even described as ‘The sound of PJ Harvey, Massive Attack or Sneaker Pimps with a modern twist’ (BandPromote, USA) and highlights have included performing as the headline act for Fashion Week in Chile, Balcony TV, be the support act for Tricky on his first tour throughout Latin America, a Central Europe Tour which included an open-air performance from Akvarium Club to Elizabeth Square in the heart of Budapest’s downtown and a headline performance at the electronica/avant-garde stage Cokxpon Ambient in the massive Sziget Festival in 2012 (also invited as Closing Act for the 15th Anniversary of the same stage in 2014). Today the band is promoting their debut album Hogar which has received excellent reviews as well as a lot of radio support from places such as diverse and distant from their native Chile as Mexico, Italy, United States, Hungary and United Kingdom among others, even premiered their latest single ‘Awakening feat. Celeste Shaw’ by the renowned Amazing Radio in the UK who labeled the band as ‘The New breed of Trip-Hop’, which in addition to their first music-video which was filmed in a WWII bunker at Budapest, Hungary, selected as one of the best music videos from Latin America in 2013, pave the way for one of the newest electronica experiences from the southern tip of Latin America.
